Sometimes Luck is Better than Talent

Yep. I got lucky and landed a great mission-driven client earlier in the summer. You know, it's one thing to work with a company that has a strong culture, commitment to giving back (or paying it forward), and a superior product. But it's a whole different type of thing to engage an organization with all those assets and whose sole purpose is to bridge the gap between the haves and have-nots. And that is exactly what's happening at DigitalC.

I can't encapsulate their charge any better than how they have it stated on their website: A non-profit focused on making Greater Cleveland’s digital future equitable. Through empowerCLE+, their very own internet service provider, DigitalC is actually making it happen by offering high-speed, reliable, and low-cost internet connectivity to the families who need it most - the underserved in NEO's poorest neighborhoods such as Fairfax, Hough, Glenville, Clark-Fulton, and Central, with more going live every month.

Last week, I participated in an event they organized to promote empowerCLE+ in Clark-Fulton. It was fun, successful, important, and enlightening, to say the least. You can get a glimpse into what we did right here. Counting DigitalC and it's dedicated team as a client is my privilege. A privilege I look forward to daily. And a mission I expect to contribute to in the weeks, months, and years to come.

DigitalC is out there Achieving Greatness, not just for itself, but for those who need a little help getting to Greatness the most. It's something we all need to do, all the time.
